Importing a solution

Thermal Model Exchanger supports importing solutions from Simcenter 3D Space Systems Thermal into Thermal Desktop.

A solution in Simcenter 3D corresponds to a case set in Thermal Desktop. The Simcenter 3D XML file, which is translated by Thermal Model Exchanger (TMX), is the thermal solver input file for one solution. The application creates a single case set per XML file.

Thermal Model Exchanger supports steady-state and transient solution types. For transient solutions, the application only imports the start and end times and keeps the other options in the Thermal Desktop Case Set dialog box with the default values.
