Prerequisites

Before starting this guide, you should have:

A basic understanding of thermal analysis concepts.
A working knowledge of Designcenter NX modeling.
Access to Simcenter 3D with the Simcenter 3D Thermal Multiphysics license.

Specific requirements for exercises

Before starting the exercises, set your role to Advanced in Simcenter 3D to access all the necessary commands. On the resource bar, choose Roles > Content folder > Role Advanced .

Note:

The starting files, which you download before starting each exercise, are saved in Simcenter 3D 2512. You can follow these exercises from the current or higher version, but the steps, command names, or user interface (UI) for higher versions may be slightly different.
