Reciprocity in ray-tracing

This section explains how reciprocity is handled when calculating view factors with ray-tracing.

In calculating view factors with ray-tracing, both VF_ij and VF_ji will generally be calculated. However, since the number of packets arriving at i from j will generally not be equal to the number of packets arriving at j from i, the reciprocity relationship A_i VF_ij = A_j VF_ji will as a rule not be fulfilled. The question is, which is more accurate: VF_ij or VF_ji?
