Translation processes
The following table lists all processes that translate thermal-flow input or run-time files to or from other formats, their corresponding command prompt switch, and their description. These processes are listed in MAYA HTT TMG Executive when you select Translation from the Process Filter list.

AS | Convert thermal binary files to ASCII | Translates thermal binary files MODLCF, MODLF, TEMPF, and VUFF into ASCII text. You must launch the TMG Executive Menu in the directory where the binary files are located. You can inspect the ASCII text files with any text editor. |
SR | Translate SINDA to universal | Translates the temperature results from a SINDA model into the UNV format. The SINDA results must be in the TEMPF file, in the correct format. The solved SINDA model is created from Simcenter 3D Space Systems Thermal. |
SU | Translate STEP-TAS to universal | Translates a STEP-TAS model into the UNV format. |
US | Translate universal to STEP-TAS | Translates a UNV file into the STEP-TAS format. |
UN | Convert results .bun file to universal file | Converts results *.bun file created by Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Electronic Systems Cooling, Space Systems Thermal, Multiphysics, or Simcenter Femap TMG (11.4.2 or later) to NX I-deas universal file. |
TP | Convert results .bun file to tecplot | Converts results *.bun file created by Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Electronic Systems Cooling, Space Systems Thermal, Multiphysics, or Simcenter Femap TMG (11.4.2 or later) to a tecplot file. |
CG | Convert results .bun file to CGNS | Converts results *.bun file created by Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Electronic Systems Cooling, Space Systems Thermal, Multiphysics, or Simcenter Femap TMG (11.4.2 or later) to a CGNS file. |
