TMG Executive Menu
TMG Executive Menu is a standalone application that lets you execute processes on thermal-flow files and solutions independently of Simcenter 3D or Simcenter Femap.

The tables on following pages list all available TMG Executive Menu processes, their corresponding command prompt switch, and their description.
Results processes
The following table lists all processes that manipulate thermal-flow result files, their corresponding command prompt switch, and their description. These processes are listed in MAYA HTT TMG Executive when you select Results from the Process Filter list.

Thermal-Flow
Contains general thermal and flow solver related documentation, such as the verification test cases, monthly critical fixes, DMP guide, and knowledge base articles.
- TMG thermal-flow solvers
  Maya HTT develops and maintains a thermal solver and a flow solver, which are combined into the TMG thermal-flow solvers. These solvers are included and distributed with Simcenter 3D, NX, and Simcenter Femap. Older versions of TMG thermal-flow solvers are also included in NX I-deas.
- Thermal and flow verification test cases
  Contains verification test cases for the thermal and flow solvers.
- Monthly critical fixes
  Lists critical bugs that are fixed monthly for the thermal and flow solvers.
- TMG Executive Menu
  TMG Executive Menu is a standalone application that lets you execute processes on thermal-flow files and solutions independently of Simcenter 3D or Simcenter Femap.
  - Start TMG Executive Menu
    This example shows how to start TMG Executive Menu to open the MAYA HTT TMG Executive dialog box.
  - Solve a solution from the command prompt
    This example shows how to solve a Simcenter 3D solution from the command prompt instead of starting the TMG Executive Menu user interface.

    This example shows how to solve multiple thermal and flow solutions from XML input files in batch mode from the TMG Executive Menu user interface.

    The MAYA HTT TMG Executive dialog box opens when you start the TMG Executive Menu application with the UI command prompt switch.
- Thermal and flow DMP guide
  Describes the general workflow for executing the simulation jobs using distributed memory parallel processing on clusters and the scheduler-dependent files required to submit the jobs to the scheduler.
- Thermal-flow data exchange files
  The thermal and flow solvers in Simcenter 3D and Simcenter Femap create multiple thermal-flow data exchange files described on the following page.

Results processes

The following table lists all processes that manipulate thermal-flow result files, their corresponding command prompt switch, and their description. These processes are listed in MAYA HTT TMG Executive when you select Results from the Process Filter list.

RR	Recover Results	Extracts additional results into the NX I-deas universal file format without resolving the model when you solve the thermal analysis with legacy NX I-deas TMG, or the flow analysis or coupled thermal-flow analysis with legacy NX I-deas ESC.
RN	Recover NX Results	Extracts additional results without resolving the model when you solve the thermal analysis, flow analysis, or coupled thermal-flow analysis with Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Electronic Systems Cooling, Space Systems Thermal, Multiphysics, or Simcenter Femap TMG (11.4.2 or later).
RI	Interpolate Results	Runs the legacy TMG results interpolator module to compute nodal results for a TMG model or to map results onto another model for legacy NX I-deas TMG, NX I-deas ESC, and Simcenter Femap TMG (11.4.1 or earlier) applications. The mapping solution in Simcenter 3D replaces this old functionality.
