Exporting primitives and domain tag sets
Thermal Model Exchanger 2.0 now allows you to export more primitive types, control the primitive angular subdivision, and export domain tag sets from Thermal Desktop into Simcenter 3D Space Systems Thermal.
Thermal Model Exchanger (TMX) now supports exporting the following new primitives into Simcenter 3D:
- Elliptic Cylinder (2D)
- Elliptic Cone (2D)
- Polygon (2D)
- Solid Sphere (3D)
- Solid Ellipsoid (3D)
- Solid Cone (3D)
- Box (3D)
3D primitives included in Radiation Analysis Groups are now exported as 3D meshes surface coated with 2D null shell elements.
You can now override the primitive angular subdivision value defined in Thermal Desktop directly in TMX, which allows you to control the level of detail in the exported primitives.
Additionally, TMX now allows to export Domain Tag Sets of the Face Set type that includes 2D elements and automatically creates corresponding groups in Simcenter 3D.
