Interface conductances

When an interface conductance between two adjacent elements is specified, two parallel boundary elements are created on the adjacent elements, by splitting the nodes of the interface element. When more than two elements are connected to the interface element, conductances are computed between all the elements.

The interface conductance equal to the area of the boundary element times the interface conductance is then created connecting the two boundary elements.

If more than two elements are connected to the interface element, then conductances will be created between all the elements with a value equal to the total interface conductance value divided by the total number of elements.
