Orbital view factors
An orbital view factor is the view factor of an element to an orbital radiative source, such as the Sun, planet IR, or Earth albedo.
The solar and planet view factors can be used to specify the positions of the Sun and a planet, such as Earth, at specific points in time. The orbit definition, sky, and diurnal solar heating settings create environmental heating conditions. These settings enable the thermal solver to internally generate solar and planet view factors based on the specified orbit parameters.
