Buoyancy
The flow solver models buoyancy force acting on a spherical particle as a function of the particle's volume and density, as well as the fluid density.
The buoyancy force acting on a spherical particle immersed in a fluid is given by:
where:
- Vp = πd3/6 is the volume of a particle of diameter d.
- ρp is the particle density.
- ρf is the fluid density.
