Obtain the license server host ID

This procedure shows how to determine the host ID of your installed Maya HTT License Server. The host ID is unique to each machine and is needed to obtain a license for a Maya HTT product.

Prerequisite

• Installed Maya HTT License Server. For more information see Install Maya HTT License Server on Windows or Install Maya HTT License Server on Linux.

Procedure for Windows

• From the Start menu, launch Maya Licensing > Host ID.

  A window displays the host ID that you need to provide in the license request page.

• In the Maya HTT License Server directory, type ml_hostid to retrieve the host ID that you need to provide in the license request page.
