April 2026 critical fixes
April 2026 fixes were published on 21 April 2026. All critical fixes listed here were fixed for versions 2512.5 and 2506.9 unless otherwise noted.
User Story 122208: Enhance plane stress edge modeling for enclosure radiation using Monte Carlo to support mixed 2D/3D configurations, namely cyclic symmetric 3D free faces, plane stress free edges, and internal edges between plane stress and axisymmetric elements
This enhancement improves the accuracy and robustness of enclosure radiation calculations using the Monte Carlo method for models that combine 2D plane stress and 3D cyclic symmetry representations.
Previously, applying radiation to free or internal edges of plane stress elements in such mixed configurations could lead to reduced temperature prediction accuracy due to limitations in plane stress edge modeling.

With this update, enclosure radiation can now be reliably applied to plane stress edges in mixed 2D/3D configurations, resulting in improved physical consistency and more accurate temperature predictions.
