Monthly critical fixes
Maya HTT strives to release the best thermal-flow solver by continually updating and fixing critical issues and releasing monthly updates to the solver. The following section lists the most critical issues fixed starting in March 2024.
December 2025 critical fixes
December 2025 fixes were published on 16 December 2025. All critical fixes listed here were fixed for versions 2512.1 and 2506.6.

Thermal-Flow
Contains general thermal and flow solver related documentation, such as the verification test cases, monthly critical fixes, DMP guide, and knowledge base articles.
- TMG thermal-flow solvers
  Maya HTT develops and maintains a thermal solver and a flow solver, which are combined into the TMG thermal-flow solvers. These solvers are included and distributed with Simcenter 3D, NX Designcenter, and Simcenter Femap. Older versions of TMG thermal-flow solvers are also included in NX I-deas.
- Thermal and flow verification test cases
  Contains verification test cases for the thermal and flow solvers.

    January 2026 fixes were published on 20 January 2026. All critical fixes listed here were fixed for versions 2512.3 and 2506.7 unless otherwise noted.

  TMG Executive Menu is a standalone application that lets you execute processes on thermal-flow files and solutions independently of Simcenter 3D or Simcenter Femap.
- Thermal and flow DMP guide
  Describes the general workflow for executing the simulation jobs using distributed memory parallel processing on clusters and the scheduler-dependent files required to submit the jobs to the scheduler.
- Solver supported compilers per version
  For each released version of the TMG thermal-flow solvers, the following table lists the compiler version that you can use when you compile your subroutine, thermal solver plugin function for expressions, or flow solver plugin function.
- Thermal-flow data exchange files
  The thermal and flow solvers in Simcenter 3D and Simcenter Femap create multiple thermal-flow data exchange files described on the following page.

Bug 118866: Perfect contact thermal coupling does not work with the finite element method when both the primary and the secondary selections consist of 2D thin shell elements

A bug has been resolved that prevented perfect contact thermal couplings from functioning correctly in finite element models when both the primary and secondary selections consisted of 2D thin shell elements, that is 2D-to-2D element connections. With this fix, perfect contact now works reliably for shell-to-shell configurations, enabling accurate and physically realistic heat transfer modeling. This improvement aligns the finite element method’s behavior with that of the finite volume method and ensures consistent results across serial and parallel runs.
