  - Introduction
    In most situations, a thermal model can be defined and solved directly within your CAE software. The thermal model is built using the software's interface, and the results can then be displayed and analyzed using its built-in post-processing tools.

Post-processing libraries

The thermal solver provides the following post-processing libraries for generating results files.

RSLTPOST: This library reads raw data produced by the thermal solver and creates results files formatted for the CAD platform in use, in order to visualize thermal results in post-processing. It is the default library.
FE POST (POSTlib): This library is tailored for use with the finite element method. It is activated when the solution runs in parallel. It provides a set of tools for visualizing and analyzing results from FEM simulations. FE POST is designed to handle the unique data structures and requirements associated with finite element analysis. FE POST is also better optimized for parallel processing compared to RSLTPOST for the finite element method. The FE POST library can be activated for a serial run using the finite element method by using the FE POST-PROCESSING LIBRARY advanced parameter.
