Application
The USERF
routine must interpret the values of ITAB
and CHARA
to determine which particular relationship is requesting a value for and then use IDEP
to determine which element or conductance is currently being processed. Once this data has been processed the code can implement the appropriate calculations and return a value in the variable VDEP
. This value will be applied to whatever variable is defined as the independent variable in the Card 9 - TABTYPE Table Variable Type Definition Card - Optional. For more information, see the Thermal Solver Reference Manual PDF.
All the techniques recommended for USER1
subroutines can also be used in
USERF
as can all of the thermal solver functions.
